Crestwood Estate's Check-In & Check-Out Policy

At Crestwood Estate B&B, we provide a comfortable, seamless, and secure stay for all our guests. To help us prepare your accommodation to the highest standard and ensure staff are available to welcome you, we ask that you take note of our check-in guidelines.

• Standard Check-In Window: 14:00 (2:00 PM) to 21:00 (9:00 PM).

• Standard Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM.

Early Arrivals (Before 14:00)

If you plan to arrive in the Midlands early—particularly for weddings or private functions—we offer options to accommodate your schedule:

• Complimentary Early Arrival (Luggage Drop-Off & Key Collection): If you arrive before 14:00, you are welcome to:

  • Complete your check-in paperwork and receive your key.

  • Securely store your luggage with our reception team.

  • Relax and utilize the lodge's communal facilities (lounge, bar, and gardens).

  • Please note: Unit access for changing, resting, or setup is only available from 14:00 under this complimentary service.

• Premium Early Check-In (Full Unit Access by 12:00 PM): If you require guaranteed access to your unit by 12:00 PM (for pre-wedding preparation, changing, or setup), we can offer this premium service strictly under one of the following conditions:

  • Option A — Guaranteed Access (Preferred): You book and pay for the night prior to your arrival at a discounted rate (e.g., 30–50% off the standard rate). This is the best way to guarantee immediate access upon your arrival.

  • Option B — Early Check-In Fee (Subject to Availability): You pay a non-refundable Early Check-In Fee of approximately R900 per unit. Please note: This option is strictly subject to the departure time of the previous guest and housekeeping capacity, and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Requirement: All Premium Early Check-In requests (Option A or B) must be finalized and confirmed at least 7 days prior to your arrival date.

Late Arrivals (After 21:00)

To maintain property security and ensure staff are scheduled to assist you, all arrivals after 21:00 must be arranged with us in advance.

• Pre-Arranged Late Arrivals: If you anticipate arriving after 21:00, please notify us as soon as possible (ideally before 18:00 on your arrival day). A late check-in fee applies to cover extended staffing or self-check-in coordination:

  • 21:00 – 22:00: R350

  • 22:00 – 00:00 (Midnight): R450 – R850

  • After 00:00 (Midnight): R500 – R1,200

• Unannounced Late Arrivals: Arrivals after 21:00 without prior notice cause significant operational disruption and may incur higher late charges (up to R1,500) or delayed access.
